Have you ever had braces? Have you ever tripped and fell down, hurting your teeth or lose and teeth? Well in Smile, Raina needs braces. She doesn't like her smile so she keeps her mouth closed. It is almost time for her to get braces, when she runs with her friends and falls. Knocking out her two front teeth. They try to put the two front teeth back in her mouth but the dentist told her the procedure did not work. Therefore she needs her braces on soon and for a longer period of time. There are many events that happen in this book about her teeth and what happens to them. will she smile again? read the book to find out what happens and how long she has to wear braces.

This is a great graphic novel. Its funny and easy to read as well as relate to. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes to read. The events in the book actually happened to the author.
